The quality of a monument speaks for itself. It takes many years to become knowledgeable about the various grades of granite. Selecting granite with the least imperfections and lowest moisture absorption rate is of utmost importance to us. Our knowledge and experience empowers us to select only the finest grade stone. We prefer to use domestic quarried granite. Imported granites are readily available; however caution must be used in their selection as some have proved inferior.
Over our 113 year existence we have seen several monument firms enter the market place. Several have failed by selling inferior quality granites at a high price.
A wise man once said… “It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that’s all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.” The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run; and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.
